Yea I saw that today..I GOT CHILLS. Can't wait for this movie...hell I haven't been able to wait for this movie for 5 years now!

who is the chick and the guy with a bow? (not real names, super hero names). I don't believe I saw those original movies (if they exist)

the dude with the bow is Hawkeye, a Shield special agent and eventual Avenger.

the girl is Black Widow, also a Shield agent. Not sure if she ever becomes a full Avenger or not.

Scarlett Johansson (the chick) plays Black Widow. She was a major character in the Iron Man movies.

LOL I am glad I didn't have to geek on on this one since yes it all has been explained. BUT I will anyway. Since Avengers has always been my FAVORITE comic of all time.


Hawkeye was later made part of the Avengers like 20 comics down the road. But what is funny is that Ant Man or Wasp are not included who were part of the ORIGINAL Avengers. I know...they didn't make Ant Man or Wasp movies...but they never included them in any of the original Avenger movies either.


Black Widow eventually joined the Avengers well after Hawkeye.

There have been a LOT of Avengers come and go. But the original cast was Iron Man, Hulk, Ant man, Thor, and Wasp. Hulk leaves for a period to be replaced by Capt. America. Black Panther, Black Knight, Scarlett Witch, Wonder Man, Ms. Marvel, Quicksilver, Vision. All joined way later.

that is one thing I never got into was comics, so I don't have that nastalgic view of this movie or the others (Iron Man, Hulk, etc). That said, looks freaking awesome and I've loved nearly all of the recent movies based off of comic book heros....can't wait for this one.

I hate American comics.
Except the actual subject material, which is freaking awesome.

Comics themselves though, art style, etc., are definitely something I never really enjoyed.

never read the comics but the cartoons have always rocked. I really never knew much about the Avengers until the recent Avengers cartoon on DisneyXD. It was cool!

I do wish AntMan and Wasp were going to be in this movie. Lame that they arent. I'm actually rather concerned for this movie. Too much explosions and such will just end up detracting.. we'll see though. Of course I will be seeing it!

This movie's got nuthin' on Magic Mike! hahaha
