thats all it really is.. yet i view it in amazement and wonder. as has been stated.. it's the end of an era. the last shuttle launch. in this case.. some lucky passengers on a flight saw it as it happened and one smart guy recorded it!

pretty badass... is there a limit to how close aircraft can come during a launch? i wonder how far away they were. looked like about 5 miles or so.
