I know no one comes around here anymore but just wanted to let y'all know that I renewed the league from last year. 4 of us are already in, if you don't wanna play this year just let me know

Full disclosure, I haven't tried to join it myself. Shane tried it and sent me that image. However.. Shane gets mad at "that guy" in the mirror for always mocking him! I mean he's not quite on Firesnake's level of derpiness but..... no one is so... that really explains nothing beyond being a free kick to the nuts of both Shane and Mike!

Derek it still fails I went straight from my email invite. It goes to the page that shows the league settings and there is a blue 'join now' button. I click and the message error pops at the top. It says:

There is not room in this league if all teams from last year return. If you were invited to take over an existing team, please click the link in the email you received to join the league. To create a brand new team, get the commissioner to increase the maximum number of teams, or remove teams that will not be returning. wrote:

I had to do something similar with the league I run. I had the same thing happen and I couldn't invite more people, because for what ever reason it turned on the keeper settings. Soo Res look at the keeper settings see if they are turned on.

I had to turn it off and then it would let me invite. I am guessing its the same way here. Just throwing it out there

i looked in keeper settings, they're off. what else should i try? should i just delete the original invites and send out new ones?

ok, so it looked like zebug had two separate teams in there somehow. one from last year (his old email that i invited him with) and then he is already joined with a different team. i deleted his other, maybe that helps?

we that got me in. I'll tell Shane to try tomorrow when I see him. Any other teams like that still there?

Make it so the league allows more than 10 teams.

I'm not really sure why this should be a problem, since everyone should be renewing an old team. But, the "Max # of teams" setting is how many teams the league can hold over its history, not how many teams you need to have to start the particular season.

Just set it to 20. That way if someone new plays in a future season you don't have to delete an old team that might return a few years later.

Also my fiancee will probably play again, if we need a number, but she's joined a work league of her own, so I'm not sure if she wants to pick up a 4th team to manage   

ah ok. thanks sev, that makes sense in some sort of twisted yahoo way. she is more than welcome to play, especially since kristi isn't playing. with her, jimmy and max that puts us at 9. i still need to talk to jonboy. he plays but rarely keeps up with it. does anyone know someone else that would be a better player?
