Survivor and Pick'Em

Max has had smooth sailing it seems every week and that continued this week with him taking Pitt over Oakland. I am still not out of the clear yet as I took SD to beat Denver on MNF so we might have a champion by the end of the night should Denver win. I'm going for a 5th straight overtime victory.

I did have Dallas picked this week over Detroit thinking that this would be the ONLY week that I would take Dallas the rest of the season but I chickened out and switched my pick last minute....hope it doesn't come back to bite me.

Max and I both took The Browns yesterday and needed Carolina to bounce a kick off of the upright for us to pull out the win.

Odds on favorite has to be Max with teams like Baltimore, Indy, GB, NYJ still on the board for him (teams I've already picked)

That just about wraps up the Pickem for Res, I was slowly picking up a point here and there but his +3 swing this week should just about seal it.

As for Survival...Max and I are still in. Last week of the regular season, then it goes to the playoffs. I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel this week no matter who I pick.

I was hoping for a Pick Em / Fantasy double championship this year (like last year). I'm also in a Pick Em with about 100 other people and I'm currently 2nd, 1 game behind the leader. Gonna be clooooose.

still going with Max, but he has it in the bag. The only team I can pick is Seattle as I've taken all the other playoff teams. He can take Philly this week against GB and then NE next week still. So I'm pulling for a Seattle upset and GB taking out the Eagles.

I thought they would reset your picks come playoff time, but apparently not.

Jimmy and Fire forgetting to make picks two weeks in a row has allowed me to jump from 6th to 4th in pick'em.

As for Survival, they did reset the pics which now makes planning HUGE. For instance if I think the Superbowl is going to have NE beating NO, then I can't pick either of those teams right now. I would need to save NO for my pick during the Conference championship week and then NE for the Superbowl. OR I could just play one week at a time and hope that Max screws up. The sure selection this week is NO over Seattle.

Ohhh I don't know what way to play it right now.

oh Res had pickem all but clinched in Week 16.

As for survival, Both Max and I lost on Playoff week #1. He took NO and I took Indy. We were 2 of the ~500 people left with a perfect record going into the playoffs. So we have a split championship this year.
