Chefs will suck, but not as bad as normal
Broncos will suck worse than normal
Steelers will win the SB just like normal

Broncos will do better than the Chefs because the Chefs can't pull their head out of their ass!

Broncos will be better than the Raiders because common they will always suck as long as they have AL as their owner.

i'd rather be the superbowl runner up than have a however many game lead in your division and still not make the playoffs!

I got Detroit at about 5 wins. Not spectacular...but improved! This staff seems to know how build a freaking team...for a change. It is going to take about 3 more years to undo what Millen did to us.

hey with the way teams go from outhouse to penthouse in the NFL, Detroit CAN make the playoffs next year.

oh brother. Eric Berry will terrorize Kyle Orton. I think everyone in this division will finish pretty close. Raiders have a pretty good D and now have a QB that can play. Chargers are good but I think they've fell back to the pack a few notches. Chiefs are dangerous though.. need Cassel to take a big step forward this year.

ok, in each of the last 14 years we had a team that lost 10 games the previous year turn it around to win 10 games. Who is this years most likely outhouse to penthouse winner? The list of 10 lost teams from 2009 are:

My top 3 are:

Washington with the addition of Mcnabb but I never though Campbell was horrible but that division is brutal
Oakland, just replacing that joke Jamarcus at the QB position with a cat should get you at least 3 more wins
KC, don't really know why but I just feel it

Like you said, just getting rid of Russel improves Oakland by a lot.
I really want to say that Detroit will actually be somewhat decent this year.
Washington... will probably be pretty decent (if they can find any sort of long term RB solution), but playing Philli/NY/Dallas twice each is pretty brutal.

I can't see Oakland winning 10 games. I'd say 6-8 is a fair estimate. A monkey could do better than JaMarcus the Hutt.

Washington could surprise, just all depends on how McNabb takes on that role and if he can replicate his success in Philly with a completely different cast. He doesn't have near as good of a WR corp as he did in Philly.

As for KC... maybe. I'd say 7-9 is more realistic, which is a lot better than the what, 3 games they won last year? I can't even remember how many they won last year to be honest. Cassel is gonna have to step it up and hopefully Berry will shore up the secondary.

OK I haven't been following this but I just found out about it today. THIS is hysterical. He wasn't even the top pick but he has his own WATCH?

lol, I saw the headline saying Phillip Rivers likes what he sees in Tebows throwing motion....does he actually like it because he knows that it sucks and they are in the same division?

rivers might have one of the uglies motions in the league. I cant stand his throwing motion. he shot puts the ball almost. I'm looking forward to Tebow.. don't quite understand the hate he gets really.

it's like Favre. Favre isnt out there begging the media to cover him.. they just do. Tebow isn't either.. the media does. hate the media if you dont like all the coverage of tebow (or favre) so the hate can at least be logical.

Not a fan of the throwing motion...but he is one of the best quarterbacks out there. His results speak for themselves since he has HORRIBLE wide outs. Vince Jackson?? He would be a back up everywhere else.

Orton could have a break out year this year. I heard that from a co worker...I almost choked on the cookie I was eating.

Not trying to drink the kool-aid....but the Detroit starting D-Line looked good! SUH getting doubled teamed leaving KVB and Avril to do their thing. Our secondary is still pathetic though.

sounds like your starters played well against the Steelers starters, I didn't see any of it though. Big Ben didn't play and I read the crowd was chanting "WE WANT BEN" so thats a good sign.

Post Preseason analysis. Orton looked better than I have ever seen him. Eddie made a move that was sick! First team offense looked pretty good tho they didn't try running the ball. I think because they knew they didn't have any runners that they could trust and didn't want them to get hurt. First offense scored 14 points in 2 drives. First team Defense didn't allow a drive to score. I say that is pretty damn good. Back ups however really really need some work. The second string defense couldn't tackle a wet noodle. Special teams weren't special they allowed a lot of things to run.

Tim Tebow could have looked a little more special if his recievers would have caught the balls thrown to them. But he did score a touchdown which was a WHOLE lot better than what Quinn did. Quinn over thru everyone. Except that one pass down the sidelines that should have also been caught.

Over all pleased what I saw...still thinking they will only win 5 games this year.
